Jardín is a residential project located in San Ángel, a neighborhood in southern Mexico City. The architectural scheme followed the intention to create garden areas in the site. The house was planned to function in a single-story scheme as most of the program is accomplished in the ground floor plan, with the exception of a secondary bedroom and services.
The design approach led to the merging of interior and exterior spaces, where indoor living areas are as open as they could be. To prevent any interference with the visual continuum by a column or structural element, we set steel beams and other metallic elements in the main structure.
